Intel Dual Core Heat Problem

Well, my home PC is Intel dual core on gigabyte mother board. And this is the first summer for my pc
with the heat.

pentium D

At this time, the fan got crazy and it’s normal to speed up and make some noise. But the temperature of the CPU and the system is high if I’m talking in average temperature. I thought to clean the machine from dust from the inside. I cleaned it and reassembled the machine and the problem raised up.

With first turn on of the machine “after the reassembling” suddenly the system shutdown quickly after 30 seconds or less. Intel says the CPU get the 45C (something like that) in one second. My CPU reached the upper upper limit which it 97C and this may damage the CPU.

I checked if i didn’t put the heatsink right but everything seems fine. I identified the problem which is lies between the CPU surface and the heatsink.

After searching in the internet and blogs, I found one of guys were helpful and he said if you want to remove the original fan in purpose of cleaning or something you need to bring new heatsink because Intel dual core fan is one time use. How is that could be I don’t know.

I shipped :P the PC to the hardware supporting company, and they said we will fixed it :)
Next time they told me the problem is with the fan :)
I told them to put a extra big fan to get an extra cooling, so they gave a gigabyte heatsink and it was expensive. Whatever….. I want the best for my PC

I sailed home and another problem came up which is when I use the two cores by rendering something or playing game for short-time the temperature become 70 and the O.S freezes.

I shipped it again to the company, and they will fixed it of course.

Next time they told me, why u are using that much or hard disks and CD-Roms they make extra heat, and I told them this motherboard is prepared for this thing and I have like 5 fans in the system. they replied maybe u have a problem with the motherboard, no the hard disk, no no the CPU it self , no no no the O.S..
…bunch of idiots are working on my PC.

I told them to get me new default original Dual Core fan and try it.

Until now, It’s working wonderful.

Finally I got these tips:
- Remove the Heat sink slowly and overcareful of damage.
- Buy or Get new liquid which exist between the CPU and the heat sink (this material carry the heat fast away from the CPU) to put it when you restore the heat sink
- If you want to change the Heat Sink to new one, bring a compatible one with the motherboard and CPU (there’s some differences between the fans like the material which made of and the speed of it’s fan)
